The number of delegates grew more than 30% between the 2002 and 2003 Conferences. The same growth was achieved between 2003 and 2004.
Indeed, with 300+ participants, International SIP 2004 confirmed its ranking as a major international event dedicated to the SIP protocol. Upper Side, forerunner in telecom conferences, was the first group to organize an event uniquely centered on SIP.
Moreover, since 1999 International SIP has attracted the most eminent technical specialists in the field. The success of the 2004 conference is owed above all to their patronage.

International SIP 2005: Amplifying the Success of 2004
International SIP 2005 will take place in Paris on January 25 to 28. The accent will once again be on the technological excellence of the presentations.
Upper Side is expecting more than 400 delegates in January 2005.
International SIP 2005 will be jointly organized with TVoDSL 05, another worldwide success. Therefore, the SIP conference will represent the VoIP side of this Triple Play event. In all, Upper side expects more than 800 participants.
Therefore the event will move to a larger conference centre: the Sofitel Rive Gauche, Paris.
The Conference: reports from deployments
SIP has evolved to become not only the protocol of choice for deploying enhanced voice and data services, it has also become the future choice of how service providers will trade voice traffic for basic calls and enhanced services.
The International SIP conference has followed this trend for five years now, as the most important worldwide event entirely dedicated to this technology.
The SIP 2005 program will be dedicated to deployment examples. The objective is to show that SIP is henceforth a stable and functional protocol and operators can invest in architectures and roll out services.
Exhibition Hall within the Triple Play Showcase
The Upper Side team anticipates a notable increase in the number of exhibitors in 2005 given the success of the 2004 Conference.
The SIP exhibition will consitute the VoIP space flour within the larger Triple Play Showcase
This showcase will welcome industrial actors involved in TVoDSL, VoIP and video over IP services. In all, Upper Side expect more than 40 exhibitors.
