Wise words

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"
- Unknown Author.

What is SIP?

A definition from SIPKnowledge.

SIP is an acronym for Session Initiation Protocol, which is a signaling protocol used for establishing, managing and terminating, interactive communication sessions between users in IP networks (Internet, Intranets.) Such sessions include voice phone calls, multi-media conference sessions, instant messaging chats, interactive games, web page click-to-dial and voice-enriched e-commerce, to name a few. http://www.sipknowledge.com/sip_demo1.htm

Introducing our first new sponsors for 2005!

SOLINET and Futurenetz are very welcome new members to our team this year. Products like SOLINET's SIP testsuite will be in great demand to fine tune SIP networks as more and more live deployments are announced in 2005. 3G Mobile is a HOT Topic! Be prepared! Get in touch with Futurenetz for some training to get a head-start.

Futurenetz offers comprehensive competence in SIP technologies for the 3G mobile industry. Its expertise on wireless systems (GSM, GPRS, UMTS) and IP technologies is combined with extensive training experience to provide 3G operators and vendors with high quality courses in the area of IP Multimedia Services using the Session Initiation Protocol over UMTS.
