Common Multimedia Library
The UCL common multimedia library implements a number of algorithms and protocols needed by a number of our applications. It compiles standalone on a range of Unix systems (Solaris, Linux, Irix, FreeBSD, MacOSX) and on Windows 95/98/NT/XP.
enum.at SIP TAPI Driver - It is GPL, based on AstTapi and eXosip2. It allows click2dial from any TAPI application (e.g. MS Outlook).
GNU ccRTP
GNU ccRTP is an implementation of RTP, the real-time transport protocol from the IETF (see RFC 3550, RFC 3551 and RFC 3555). ccRTP is a C++ library based on GNU Common C++ which provides a high performance, flexible and extensible standards-compliant RTP stack with full RTCP support. The design and implementation of ccRTP make it suitable for high capacity servers and gateways as well as personal client applications.
Java Media Framework API (JMF) - Enables audio, video and other time-based media to be added to applications and applets built on Java technology. This optional package, which can capture, playback, stream, and transcode multiple media formats, extends the Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition (J2SE) for multimedia developers by providing a powerful toolkit to develop scalable, cross-platform technology.
LIVE.COM Streaming Media - This code forms a set of C++ libraries for multimedia streaming, using open standard protocols (RTP/RTCP, RTSP, SIP).
Morgan RTP DirectShow Filters - a set of DirectShow filters that allows you to perform media-streaming on your Windows PC.
Open Source SIP stacks compared - By Martin van den Berg, August 2004.
The Robust Audio Tool (RAT) - An open-source audio conferencing and streaming application.
RTPlib
The RTP Library provides a high level interface for developing applications that make use of the Real Time Transport Protocol (RTP).
RTP Tools (Version 1.18) - Columbia University rtptools distribution consists of a number of small applications that can be used for processing RTP data.
UDP Packet Reflector / Forwarder - This application operates in two modes: 1. Packet reflector that sends UDP packets back to the host that sent them. 2. Packet forwarder that forwards packets between a number of unicast UDP sources acting as bridge when multicast is not available.
