Motivation:

It is 9pm. Joe Was trying to get hold of his house mate, Gracie, all day long, but with no luck. He is away from home and just about ready to go to the big party with his friends. If he could only detect her coming back home, he would be able to let her know where he is. Possibly invite her to join him and his friends at the party...

Activation time

Joe accesses his SIP based home presence-monitor system via his SIP mobile device. He remotely activates the monitor (via SIP commands).

Action time
=========
Gracie enters home. The home presence-monitor system alerts Joe right away for a movement at the apartment. Via the remote monitor Joe can view Gracie’s smiley face. He pushes a button on his phone, which opens two way audio channel between Joe and the phone, which is attached to the monitor. He asks Gracie to join them at the party.
